Incredible Girl

It’s not the way that she pulls you in

To see her you would think

That she is plain Jane

Sane

She never complains when she feels the pain

She’s totally contradictory

A graceful catastrophe

Demure and wild- a woman and child

Dancing and laughing in a hurricane

It’s the way she laughs about her problems

And acts like there is nothing wrong

It’s the way she tells me what she’s thinking

When she says nothing at all

            She’s an incredible girl

            In an impossible world

She’s something more like a mystery

A book I love to read

her pages turned, learned,

burned

Her storyline captivating me
